A Lev is intended for use within the city and on normal roads. If you drive a Lev, your place on the road is the same as if you were driving a normal car. Below is an overview of where you may / may not drive a Lev.
- Pavement - NOT ALLOWED
- Bicycle path - NOT ALLOWED
- Road (30 km/h) -ALLOWED
- Road (50 km/h) - ALLOWED
- Provincial Road (80 km/h) - ALLOWED, though we do not advise this because of the difference in speed between and Lev (45 km/h) and a car (80 km/h)
- Motorway (100 km/h) - NOT ALLOWED
- Highway (100+ km/h) - NOT ALLOWED
Note: You are not allowed to drive a Lev in the Maastunnel.
If you're using a navigation app to guide you to your destination while using a Lev, make sure you're enable the 'Avoid Highways' option. Here's how to do that for Google Maps / Apple Maps / Waze.
