Drive Lev in the Home Zone
Lev has a defined service area, or "Home Zone", that marks the boundaries of where a Lev can be parked at the end of a trip (see fig. 1). If a Lev is outside of the service area you won't be able to end your trip at this location. (See fig. 2).
The current service area is shown on the main screen in the Lev app. We are expanding our service area regularly. You can always check the current boundaries in the app.
Why are there holes in the service area?
The service area might be disconnected geographically. There are some areas outside of the city center that are also a part of the service area and are valid places to end your trip.
The opposite is also true - there are areas within a central service area where you can't park your Lev (such as outdoor shopping areas, public parks, etc. - also shown in Fig. 2).
If you find your travels take you outside of the service area temporarily, you can use our Pause feature to keep your Lev on hold for you at a reduced rate (€0,15/minute) while you are away. You can then resume the trip in the Lev and will be billed again at the normal rate (€0,40/minute).
